Subic Weekend

It was too early. 5 AM but was worth it. Hot Air Balloon Festival was the reason to drive 300 km North and back and to wake up as early as 4 AM to witness the 21st Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta.

Balloons and the weekend flew by fast. If you are following us on Instagram or Twitter you’d know that we love Red Planet Hotels. During our trip to Subic, guess where we stayed? Yes, Red Planet. Though almost everything was the same, the service was not. We still love Red Planet but Makati branch just is the best among the rest.

Aside from the balloons that flew, food was a source of delight during this trip. Must love the small bakery breakfast place near ABC hotel. Swiss Chalet satisfied a hungry German’s food cravings too.img_4050

Weekend where everything flew with the help of Waze brought us to unexpected destinations. We got lost while looking for a decent beach to spend the rest of day. We found a beautiful beach in Subic. Camayan Beach Resort is not near Angeles, Pampanga.

But Funtastic Park is just near Camayan Beach Resort.

Subic is a fun place to get lost and fly and you know it’s a great weekend when you can simply turn your bedroom upside down.

    1. The picture was taken in an upside down room. The room itself and everything insde are basically upside down. You can take some great pictures there and it really takes a while to process it πŸ˜‚
